This change in organisation comes as Carl Smith becomes a co-director of the company.

The Curse Of Kane
Status - Production - Duration 7mins
Written, directed and staring students from Coombe Road Primary School Film Club, Brighton.
The film follows the story of Alphie and Louise, two friends faced with the impossible task of saving their entire school from the grasp of Kane, new student and evil super genius.
Shortly after his arrival at the school Kane hypnotises the entire school to do his evil bidding.
Can Alphie and Louise save the day or will they also be drawn into Kane’s evil plan becoming his “friends”.
Lead by Martin and Carl the group spent 3 weeks writing the film basing their ideas on the theme of 'The Hero’s Journey'.
The young people are using professional film production equipment provided by Silverbox Films to create their film.
"Each of the students is taking it in turns to learn the different jobs involved to make a film like this. We assign roles each week to do directing, camera work, lighting, sound recording, slating etc and then we also have our key actors performing each week".

A Violent Mind (re-edit)

Since completion in 2009 interest in AVM has steadily increased. In a bid to maximise the potential opportunities for the film a second edit of the film has begun with the goal to reduce its duration making it an acceptable length for film festivals.

The story follows the life of John Mulvaney, a violent criminal serving a life sentence for multiple murder and journalist Mike Graham, who is conducting a series of interviews with him for a newspaper article.
What Graham initially sees as a straightforward series of interviews turns into a battle of wits between the two, as a series of psychological mind games develop, with the threat of violence ever present.
With many seeing society as becoming increasingly violent, the film attempts to explore the psyche of violence, its root causes and, without condoning it, why some human beings are capable of extreme acts of violence against their fellow man.

After discovering his fiancée's unfaithfulness on the day he planned to propose, Peter sits alone and depressed at the back of an empty night bus. He chances to meet a salesman from a company specialising in revenge 'disposals', who also happen to offer special deals and discounts for large orders. The salesman works his magic and Peter, who is a sucker for a bargain, soon finds himself in over his head.
