Silverbox Films is best known as an educator running projects for young people and adults around the Brighton and Hove area. Projects can range from a one day introduction to film-making right up to 15 weeks creating a short film aimed at festival distribution.
All projects are tailored to the groups individual needs and skill level but the aim is always to go from script to screen in whatever timeframe we have allotted to us. Students are shown how to formulate a working script from their own ideas, how to compose shots in order to tell a story, best use of equipment and basic editing and special effects.
